Ever since the novel and fast-spreading coronavirus pandemic arrived on our shores, the political left and worrywarts of our nation have pushed the idea that this disease is one of the worst we have ever seen. The fear of it, partially brought on by its newness and, therefore, all of the unknowns, pretty much shut our entire nation down and forced us all to look at our friends and family members as death threats.
However, the Centers for Disease Control or CDC just came out with a report that gives evidence to the fact the disease isn’t nearly as deadly as we all were led to believe. In fact, if the science is right, a colossal 94 percent of all those who supposedly died from COVID since it was introduced actually died from something else.
Provided in the report is a table that includes all of the possible illnesses and diseases patients who died while having COVID actually died from. Most, unsurprisingly, are other lung or breathing-related conditions such as the common flu, pneumonia, and respiratory failure.
However, still, others died from things like heart failure, heart attacks, hypertensive disease, or other circulatory ailments. Other illnesses that led to death while a person had been diagnosed with COVID were things like diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and obesity. Some deaths were even listed as “intentional and unintentional injury, poisoning, and other adverse events.”
Of course, the phrase ‘adverse events’ was not expounded upon.
And neither was a column titled “other conditions and causes,” of which some 78,000 Americans apparently died from.
This means that of the nearly 170,000 deaths the United States has seen ‘due to COVID,’ only a mere six percent can actually be blamed on the disease itself.
Though, this really shouldn’t be all that surprising.
After all, early on during the pandemic, the CDC changed its guidelines to allow hospitals and nursing staff to report deaths as being caused by COVID even if it was just a contributing factor. Furthermore, their rules stated that if it was even “assumed” that it was COVID, based on symptoms, it could be noted that the patient died of the novel disease. In some cases, tests were never even given to confirm the patient had the virus.
But according to their death certificate, they died of COVID.
If they died of gunshot wounds but had COVID, it was another COVID death. A car accident? COVID did it.
Now, obviously, the CDC said that pre-existing conditions or other complications should be listed on the death certificate as well, just not as the main reason.
Turns out it should have been done the opposite way.
Anyway, the CDC has since corrected this. As time has gone on and the number of deaths continues to decrease compared with the number of people who have actually gotten the disease and recovered, they are apparently starting to realize that the virus isn’t nearly as deadly as we once thought. This new report is proof of that.
This could be, at least in part, why they recently and quite suddenly, as well as secretly reversed their decision on the testing of asymptomatic people. Previously the agency, as well as many others, had heavily pushed the testing of nearly anyone and everyone, as the disease does spread relatively easily and quickly.
However, in a rather quiet fashion and with no fanfare whatsoever, the agency has now come out with guidelines that say asymptomatic patients don’t really need to be tested, even if they have been exposed to someone who has tested positive.
The change is undoubtedly controversial, especially in light of their previous stance on the subject. Many have since come out saying that the change was made for purely political reasons, as lower death rates and testing would look good for President Trump coming into the election.
And as far as that idea goes, this report will also. I’m sure, as I write this, someone out there is typing up a piece on Trump’s ability to warp everything into his gain.
Then again, doing so will mean they have to ignore their precious science that they go on and on about Trump not believing in. Go ahead, let their hypocrisy bite them in the ass… again.
