Hunter Biden made headline news when his former high-paid position with the Ukrainian company, Burisma, was called into question. Lacking any real qualifications, the younger Biden simply waltzed into a prestigious board member position with a high rolling international corporation. What’s so fishy about that?
As new reports begin to surface it’s become abundantly clear how Hunter Biden was operating in the shadows where his real motives, and those of his dad, were obscured from the public eye.
Only one month prior to an as of yet unidentified whistleblower causing Democrats to launch their ridiculously frivolous full-blown impeachment trial, Hunter was already under investigation. It involved a conflict of interest involving his close ties with the purchase of a US manufacturer by a major Chinese company in which his hand somehow played a major role in negotiating.
This coincidentally happened at a time when Burisma and its Ukrainian underworld thugs were under intense scrutiny for alleged off-the-charts illicit activities and unprecedented corruption.
George Kent, the previous Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, said in 2015, “The presence of Hunter Biden on the Burisma board was very awkward for all U.S. officials pushing an anticorruption agenda in Ukraine.” As it was intended to be.
The US State Department rightly raised concerns with both Joe and Hunter Biden. Amos Hockstein, an official with the department, expressed how Hunters’ position with Burisma had the potential for further enabling Russian disinformation efforts, and how it risked undermining the U.S. policies they were attempting to enforce in Ukraine. Once again. As intended.
As should have been expected, Hockstein’s and Kent’s concerns were largely ignored by the Obama administration. In Dec 2019, former Secretary of State, John Kerry, who was well aware of Hunter Biden’s position with Burisma, and what it actually entailed, when asked at a town hall meeting, falsely claimed, “I had no knowledge about any of that. None. No.”
When Victoria Nuland, former Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, suggested how confronting oligarchs such as the notorious and highly corrupt Mykola Zlochevsky would send a message to Ukraine letting them know they were on to them, VP Biden didn’t care for the idea. No sir. Not one single bit.
Well aware of how his son was bound to be questioned about possible corruption with Burisma and the Ukrainian government, Hunter was advised to say, “I’m not going to get into naming names or accusing individuals.” He was told to cover things up. Keep your yap shut.
You see, it just so happens that when Zlochevsky “donated” $7 million to be equally divided between the officials working under Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Vitaly Yarema, in December 2014, Biden had been with Burisma for seven months. Zlochevsky’s cases conveniently disappeared. Hunter was just earning his pay.
George Kent and the Resident Legal Advisor reported what they had witnessed to the FBI, but they never pursued the matter. They stuck it in a folder. Hmmm…
Who knew that little Hunter needed Secret Service protection from Jan. 29, 2009 to July 8, 2014? Did you? He was an official protectee. The SS tagged along with him on his adventures to exotic places such as Moscow, Beijing, Doha, Paris, Seoul, Manila, Tokyo, Mexico City, Milan, Florence, Shanghai, Geneva, London, Dublin, Munich, Berlin, Bogota, Abu Dhabi, Nairobi, Hong Kong, Taipei, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Johannesburg, Brussels, Madrid, Mumbai, and Lake Como.
The obvious question is, “What in the holy heck was he doing?” Yes, he’s an attorney. Yes, he’s served in lower-level government positions. No. He has not served in any capacity requiring a quick jaunt to Bogota or Abu Dhabi.
Hunter Biden was paid over $4 million for his time with Burisma, but… Hunter, and his individual family members, also received under-the-table payments in the millions from foreign nationals with tarnished reputations. Clever, huh?
Here’s a good one. How about a $142,300 gift plus a new set of wheels from some guy named Kenges Rakishev of Kazakhstan? Sound good? Especially when it’s on the very same day your father’s set to meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arsemy Yasenyuk, and his legislators, in Kyiv of all places, to discuss Russias activity in Crimea? ‘Coincidinky?’
And then there was the $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina. Who? She’s the not-any-better other half of Moscow’s former mayor. Was it for personal attention rendered? Probably not. At least not in that respect.
Though there are many more examples to be found of Hunters’ misadventures for your temper flaring pleasure, the hands-down best fire starter has been saved for last.
Daddy’s boy Hunter threw money at some nonresident ladies living in America who were Russian or other Eastern European nationals. But hold on. It gets better.
These women appear to have been part of a network of Eastern European prostitutes and/or human traffickers. Now. Think of who raised this kid. ‘Nuff said…
