Confuser in Chief Strikes Again: Biden Once Again Serving Word Salad to Concerned Americans

The Commander-in-Chief is often confused. That doesn’t seem to be up for debate because let’s be honest, it can’t be debated. He gets lost in the middle of sentences and forgets where he is, that he’s supposed to be wearing a mask, or even what side of the stage he’s supposed to be leaving off of. While there’s no proof of this readily available, one could almost swear that he’s considering hitting on his wife when he sees her sometimes, almost as if he’s delighted to be meeting her for the “first time.”

While those traits are typically delightfully endearing in the elderly, they’re outright terrifying in the man that has the codes For the nukes. At this juncture, Americans have to face the possibility that the leader of the free world is neither a leader nor free (maybe not free like Brittney, maybe just not feely in possession of his faculties, but either way, again, terrifying).

This point was driven home once again when the president was doing a briefing on Friday over the country’s dealings with Afghanistan where he promised that the United States is “going to do everything, everything we can to provide safe evacuation” for all U.S. citizens who wanted to come home from the now-Taliban-controlled country, according to a Rev.com transcript of the event reported by the Independent Journal Review.

That all sounded great, however, when taking questions the president seemed to get a bit turned around as he had no reasonable explanation about how the “safe evacuation” was going to happen. During the briefing not only did Biden lack details on how the evacuation would happen, he had trouble remembering the name of his director of the Federal Emergency Management Administration, which he was attempting to recall in order to say she was exactly who should lead the evacuation over potential fallout from Tropical Storm Henri:

“We have been closely monitoring Henri’s progress and making the necessary preparations. Fortunately, it’s no longer a hurricane; it’s been downgraded to a tropical storm. And we are taking it seriously, though, because of the size and the storm’s surge and the rainfall it’s producing. It’s also — it’s also impacting an area of the country that has already experienced. There’s no one better to lead this operation than … than …. umm … uh … Deanne … uh … Criswell,” Biden said.

This, during Biden’s prepared remarks which Townhall.com managing editor Spencer Brown felt was a very bad sign about the president’s mental state.

“At this point, let’s just put together the senior administration officials whose names President Joe Biden remembers. It’s probably shorter,” Brown said.

“Remember, this is the guy who once called Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ‘the guy who runs that outfit over there.’ (“That outfit” referred to the Pentagon.)”

While addressing Biden’s “message to America’s partners around the world who have criticized not the withdrawal, but the conduct of that withdrawal and made them question America’s credibility on the world stage,” the president said (unconvincingly) “I have seen no question of our credibility from our allies around the world.”

This was after Both houses of the U.K. parliament had officially held Biden in contempt by then over his decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. Additionally, The Jerusalem Post which is one of the most influential newspapers of one of the United States’ most important allies, ran piece after piece questioning whether this move means the administration won’t stand with our longtime Israeli allies.

Those two examples only name a few of the questions by international leaders, but that’s ok Because Biden didn’t remember the question by the time he had to answer it. Literally, he segued by saying, “The first part of your question was — I can’t remember now.”

    And on that note …

(See, it’s disconcerting. Imagine how journalists used to covering competent politicians who can finish sentences feel).
