In 2019 DeSantis had become the youngest governor in the continental US after seeing him take a hands-on proactive approach with Covid-19 it seems he is Pro-life on all accounts

In the Federal Government, for an official to take office, he or she must first take the oath of office; this is also known as a swearing-in ceremony. The official reciting the oath swears an allegiance to uphold the Constitution. The Constitution only specifies an oath of office for the President; however, Article VI of the Constitution states that other officials, including members of Congress, “shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation to support this constitution.”

DeSantis isn’t just a politician in a suit, who spent the bulk of his life behind a desk pushing a pencil. He is a veteran, a son, a husband, and a father. He knows what it takes to defend this country and has high regard for those who serve and put their lives on the line for a country that as a whole doesn’t appreciate or respect the sacrifices our military and their families make every day.

Americans have seen DeSantis as one of the few politicians that have taken that oath to heart and been more concerned about “We the people” as opposed to lining their pockets and becoming millionaires off the backs of fellow Americans.

Florida must not be that bad of a place to live. Due to DeSantis’s decreased taxes and thriving economy, he has driven some albeit questionable citizens down into the everglades such as The mother of soak-the-rich congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

I was paying $10,000 a year in real estate taxes up north. I’m paying $600 a year in Florida. It’s stress-free down here,” Blanca Ocasio-Cortez told the Daily Mail from her home in Eustis, a town of less than 20,000 in central Florida north of Orlando.” Along with Nancy Pelosi who bearing in mind is actively trying to force the new green deal down Americans throats however she’s running as fast as she can (literally because that would be the greenest thing to do unless she is as gassy as the cows polluting the air) straight to the sunshine state with no income tax and no green deal. Imagine that.

Now DeSantis has announced his new budget of more than 100 million dollars to support our national guard to make sure they have the means necessary to carry out their mission:

87.5 million dollars to expand the existing readiness center in Miramar with 3 new armories. across the state of Florida and will house up to 1,500 soldiers once it is complete.

8.9 million dollars in existing armory maintenance.

2.2 million Headquarters for the national guard counterdrug program to assist the law enforcement efforts to reduce the supply of illegal drugs will continue to fill an unfortunate void left by the Biden administration’s open border agenda.

5.1 million dollars will be earmarked to support Florida national Guardsmen Seeking higher education. To help them support themselves and their families throughout their civilian careers.

12.2 million dollars for active-duty military and veterans in scholarships for children and spouses of deceased or disabled veterans.

3.6 million base infrastructure and support projects that will keep our military installations among the best in the nation.

3.5 million dollars to reestablish the Florida state guard to act as a civilian volunteer force that will have the ability to assist the national guard in state-specific emergencies.

This funding will support the necessary training and equipment and other support functions for up to two hundred members who can aide in the response to hurricanes, natural disasters, and other state emergencies to be able to have a quick response capability and reestablishing the Florida state guard will allow civilians all over the state to be trained in the best emergency response techniques and can mobilize quickly” DeSantis stated in his news conference

While it may seem like Democrats are losing their mind over these propositions, this is nothing new, Texas, New York, and California are among the 22 states who already have a state guard.

Will this make liberals want to rethink their policies, probably not? It’s sad to think that the other side isn’t working “for the people”
