Social media has proven that they are all about pushing the liberal agenda. Anyone who speaks out with a conservative view may get slapped with a “misinformation” label, silenced for a few days, or even completely removed from the platform.
We saw how former president Donald Trump was treated when he spoke out. Twitter threw the sitting president off of the platform faster than many of us could blink. And they didn’t apologize for it.
Whatever happened to free speech? Apparently, it’s only free speech for the liberals. Representatives like Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can pick on as many people as they want and make disgusting insults. Yet, the moment a conservative speaks up, they are silenced.
Now, Representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene has been banned from both Twitter and Facebook.
What could she have possibly said that would get her booted from not one but two major social media platforms? Allow us to share…
Representative Green (R-GA) had some critical things to say about the Vaccine Adverse Reactions System (VAERS), which is the official system used by the government for reporting negative side-effects of the COVID vaccine.
She included a chart that pulled data from VAERS and made the comment that there are “extremely high amounts of Covid vaccine deaths.”
Twitter quickly suspended her account because she had violated their Covid-19 misinformation policies. This is apparently her fifth strike, which means that her account is permanently suspended. Had this been a third or fourth strike, she would have had the ability to have her account restored.
Once Twitter shut down her account, it was not long until Facebook followed suit. Since Facebook and Instagram are linked, Greene essentially lost access to all major platforms of social media.
The Representative went onto Gab.com, a free speech-friendly network to accuse Facebook and Twitter for censoring her. She explained that she’s an elected member of Congress, representing over 700,000 American citizens. She said, “I represent their voices, values, defend their freedoms, and protect the Constitution.”
Greene has a right to be angry considering the data she pulled is from VAERS. She defends herself by saying, “But apparently they too think the CDC-managed #VAERS system on our own government websites are misinformation. And to date, there has been ZERO investigation into reported Covid deaths from government-mandated #covid vaccines.”
We’re dealing with another instance where Twitter and Facebook have decided that they’ll be the judge, jury, and executioner of information and misinformation. They did it to Trump and they have now done it to Greene – and both were elected officials of the federal government. Shouldn’t they be able to share what they want without a social media firm slapping a “misinformation” penalty against them?
Greene is calling attention to an issue that the Democrats would rather not talk about – the side effects that come with the vaccine that is being shoved down everyone’s throats. Shouldn’t we at least be investigating the deaths that are being reported to the government through the VAERS system?
The moment Greene shows that there is a legitimate issue, she’s silenced before she can share any more truth.
Notice that Democrats are never silenced. AOC can accuse Republicans of sexually lusting after her, but she gets nothing said to her. Shouldn’t that be misinformation? Ilhan Omar essentially demands the genocide of Jewish people in the U.S., and she is applauded rather than banned.
Social media used to be a chance to speak your mind. Now, it has become a tool for the left to say whatever they want while silencing the right.
Greene had a large following on social media – and now she’s been muted permanently.
Freedom of speech has been killed…and this should anger each and every one of us.
