The more we hear about the Navy spotting unidentified flying objects above their ships, the more we have learned that it’s okay to talk about what we see in the sky. We’re not going to be teased about seeing ET phone home. Instead, we’re allowed to point to something so that the government can get involved.
After all, what we see could be alien spacecraft or it could be aircraft from an enemy country. Either way, it could pose a security threat to the U.S. Therefore, it is our duty to point to the sky when we see something unusual.
And when Alaskans saw a worm-shaped cloud in the sky, many pointed. There was even talk of a UFO crash. It led to countless calls to the police and a full investigation to find out what was going on.
The photos are impressive. And a bit terrifying. If you had looked up to see this, you would have called the police, too.
The long, billowing column of smoke filled the sky this past Thursday, just over Lazy Mountain in Alaska. It led to a number of people heading to Facebook so that they could debate exactly what it was that they were looking at. Was it a plane crash? Was a rocket launched? Was there some kind of extraterrestrial activity?
One user even theorized “Our government has been testing hypersonic missiles and aircraft.”
The answer that was given to everyone? Alaska State Troopers identified it as an airplane’s trail. The official statement was shared “Troopers believe that the photos and videos showed a contrail from the commercial jet combined with the rising sun which together caused the unique atmospheric sight.
That doesn’t quite seem to cover it, though, does it? I mean, if that were the case, wouldn’t we be seeing worm-like clouds more often?
The troopers had no choice but to send a helicopter crew to investigate. Of course, they said they found nothing. Now, if no plane had crashed, that would certainly be the truth. But…what if it was a top-secret military aircraft being tested? Or an actual UFO? The government would have taken over and the troopers would have been told to make up a cover story – like the “unique atmospheric sight” that they reported on.
Users on Facebook were less than interested in what the troopers reported. Many wanted to believe it was a sign that they were being contacted from a faraway civilization. Others decided to lean more toward the academic, questioning why the contrails had flames within them and determining that the cloud was more likely created by a rocket.
Even after the helicopter flew around Lazy Mountain to report that nothing suspicious was found, the troopers identified “Further investigation revealed that a large commercial jet was flying in that area around the time that the photos and video were taken. The aircraft was contacted and reported normal flight operations on its way to JFK airport in New York.”
So, they’re sticking with the story of a commercial jet contrail.

As people hold recording devices in their hands each and every day, it’s getting harder for the government to hold out on us. If there is intelligent life out there, the government already knows the truth – and we’ll be finding out about it sooner rather than later.
